- Root of Jesus Christian Ministries
The Root of Jesus Ministry works with inner city kids in Kenosha and is looking for 4 computer towers, along with mice and keyboards. They already have monitors. The operating systems do not matter as long as they are internet ready. If you have a computer or have any questions, contact Ben Middleton.
- Remember the Shopping
Cart!
In our east foyer each Sunday you will find a shopping
cart to place non-perishable food items from the Shalom
Center’s “wish list”. The school lunch program provides
the only meal some children may eat each day, but not during
the summer. The Shalom Center helps fill that need by providing
daily lunch and a dinner for more than 40 needy children. Please
remember to
contribute to help fill this need. Questions? Contact Beth Nowikowski
at 262-694-4962.
- Shalom Center Serving
Help Needed
Also, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month KBC has the privilege
of serving our Lord by helping the Shalom Center provide a nutritious
meal. Five to eight volunteers are needed between 3-5:30 p.m.
If you can’t be there the entire time, any help you can give
is appreciated. Click for details on Serving
at the Shalom Center.
