Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is Christian Youth Theater, a nationwide theater arts program which emphasizes Christian principles in the theater. For the past 10 years or so, they have offered classes and staging productions throughout the Chicago area, both during the school year and in the summer. For the second summer, CYT is offering camps and classes in Kenosha County! CYT Kenosha will be returning this year with their summer day camp for 5-12 year olds, this July 12-16 here at KBC.
This summer’s production is “Disney on Broadway”. This camp will feature songs and selections from some of Disney’s finest, including Aida, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, and Tarzan. Campers will be learning singing, dancing, acting as well as enjoying special theme days and awesome outdoor games all week long. Campers will learn songs from HSM and have the chance to be cast for a special part for the Friday showcase! (Every kid will have some part in the showcase.) |
