Mike Middleton has attended Kenosha Bible Church since birth, the fourth generation of a family that has been part of KBC since its founding. Mike started his ministry at KBC as a young child, participating in special music numbers at the “early service,” continued as he helped start worship teams in youth group, and has led worship in our various services over the past several years. Mike joined KBC’s staff as Worship and Music Intern in early 2008 and became Pastor of Worship Ministries in September 2009.
Mike toured the country for three years with a Christian rock band that generated three national releases on Tooth and Nail/BEC records, received one Dove Award nomination and four WAMI nominations. He has also worked as a producer/engineer with many different musicians spanning a wide variety of music. In between traveling, song writing, and recording sessions, Mike found time to attend Trinity International University where he first majored in music performance and eventually switched to business management. After getting married in 2003, he finished his degree in business at UW-Parkside.
Mike’s passion for music and for serving the Lord have created a desire to pursue a career in worship ministry. His hope is that through his ministry, he will encourage and support those in leadership and enable others to truly worship God.
Mike’s wife, Erin, teaches first grade and is actively involved at KBC in directing the KBC Kids’ Choir. Mike and Erin currently have a daughter, Ana, and a son, Josiah. |
