Power Zone Kickoff
Sunday, Sept. 12th is our official kickoff for fall Sunday Power Zone groups! At 9:00 a.m., our preschoolers will move up to their new groups and children in elementary grades (K-5th grade) will meet in room 216 for a combined opening time, then they will divide into grade groups. The 10:30 a.m. preschoolers will also graduate to their new groups and after the singing portion of the service; the elementary kids may choose between Children’s Church (K-5th grade) in room 216 or KBC Kids’ Choir (K– 5th grades) in room 201. The addition of Kindergartners to Kids’ Choir is new this year. We are looking forward to a great year of ministry together!
Power Zone Name Changes
To simplify the drop off process of your preschooler, we are changing the names of our preschool classes. The names simply reflect the age group of the children. See classroom signs for age cutoff. The following names will be implemented with the kickoff of the fall schedule:
- Nursery - Newborns to 2 yrs
- 2 Year Olds (formerly Gentle Glows, scheduled to begin in January)
- 2 & 3 Year Olds (formerly Light Rays)
- 3 & 4 Year Olds (formerly Bright Beams)
- 4 & 5 yr olds (formerly Son Lights)
Helpers Needed for Power Zone
With one or two helpers in the 2 & 3 Year Olds class and one helper in the 4 & 5 Year Olds class at 9:00 a.m., our staff will be complete! Please contact Aimee Olson at
AimeeOlson@kenoshabible.org. Substitutes are also needed for our teachers and teen helpers. We also need adult volunteers that have a heart for helping children with special needs. Remember you must take the Child Protection training to work in Power Zone.
