"'For
I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty
and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you
invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick
and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him,
'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty
and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger
and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When
did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
of mine, you did for me.'"

On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, Kenosha Bible Church
has the privilege of serving our Lord by providing kitchen help to
the Shalom Center, preparing sack lunches and serving
the evening meal to homeless people who come each night for help.
Click to visit
the Shalom Center's website.
Between
6 to 10 volunteers are needed to help make sandwiches and serve
the meal. We also provide the sandwich fixin’s, a few
other food items and contribute to the center’s “milk
money” fund. We serve from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. I
know a lot of us are rushing home from work, etc., so don’t
feel badly if you can’t be there by 3:00 p.m., or if you
have to leave early. Just showing up is greatly appreciated!!
Sign up on the monthly sign up sheet on the bulletin
board located across the hall from Pastor Jim’s office.
If you have any questions regarding possibly serving or are interested
in donating some food items,
please give me a call at (262) 694-4962.
In Christ,
Beth Nowikowski
