KBC Women’s Ministries has set up a number of events for ladies; some include kids!
Friday Mornings at the Park
We will meet about 10:30 a.m. Bring a picnic lunch and a blanket, as well as any “park play” accessories. In the event of rain, the park time for that month will be cancelled.

Family Bike Racing at the Velodrome
Monday nights are “stock bike” races at the Washington Park velodrome, so every bike from big wheels to racing wheels is welcome. Races are organized by age and gender.
- Date: Monday, June 28th (KBC night at the velodrome!)
- Time: 6:00 p.m. (arrive 20 minutes early for registration)
- Bring: Bike, helmet, lawn chair, snacks, drinks
- Cost: $3.00 per racer to cover insurance

Explore Chicago with a Child
Take a child to spend the day in Chicago on Saturday, June 26th! The group will leave KBC at 8:00 a.m. The day’s itinerary includes a train ride to the city, and time in Lincoln Park Zoo and Millennium Park. Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for 12-17 years old and $6 for 11 and under (plus lunch). RSVP to Deb Laverty at 262-818-1599 by Tuesday, June 22nd.
Cupcake Extravaganza!
Friday, August 6th is the date for this mother/child or grandmother/grandchild event! Come and decorate some amazing cupcakes with Deb Laverty, and take a box home to share with your family and friends. The cost is $6 per adult/child combo; meet in the KBC kitchen, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. RSVP to Amy Charbonneau at 262-891-3352.
